What is Valluvanad?എന്താണ് വള്ളുവനാട്?
Valluvanad was a princely state in Kerala (South India) that spans across parts of the present Palakkad, Malappuram and Thrissur Districts. Valluvanad, a ravishingly beautiful place - a heaven of peace and tranquility, have a great cultural tradition of its own. The green foliage of the nature, architectural splendour of structures, the paddy fields that spread across, verdant coconut groves, various art forms and festivals give the land a distinctive charm.
ഒരു പഴയകാല സാമ്രാജ്യം ആയിരുന്ന വള്ളുവനാട്, ഇന്നത്തെ പാലക്കാട്, മലപ്പുറം, തൃശുര് ജില്ലകളില് ആയിട്ടാണു സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. മഹത്തായ സംസ്കാര പാരമ്പര്യത്തിന്റെ നാടാണു മലബാറിലെ വള്ളുവനാട്. അറകളും നിറകളും പത്തായങ്ങളും ഉള്ള വീടുകളും, വാസ്തുശില്പിയുടെ വൈദഗ്ധ്യം ഓതുന്ന നാലുകെട്ടുകളും അവയുടെ പത്തായപ്പുരകളും പടിപ്പുരകളും ഒരുകാലത്തു വള്ളുവനാട്ടില് ഏറെ തലയുയര്ത്തി നിന്നിരുന്നു. ആതിഥ്യ മര്യാദയിലും ഭാഷാ ശൈലിയിലും വേറിട്ടു നില്ക്കുന്നു വള്ളുവനാട്.
